Why temporarily lowering your standards is a good thing

Having standards is essential for development, that being said, sometimes you need to abandon them entirely in order to grow.

I think it’s important to remain in touch with our inner child-like purity.

When young children dance, they become entirely engrossed in the joy of the moment – all that remains is selfless expression. I think we all need to let that purity out from time to time, and as often as possible.
We all have joy and radiance within us, and if you don’t believe me you need jesus to get up and dance more than anyone else.

A new type of meditation

My awareness was suddenly jolted into the present moment. Letting my mind wander too far could prove to be dangerous.

I’ve had problems in the past with traditional meditation so this was an awesome solution I had literally stumbled upon, no pun intended.

All I did was walk down the streets of Philadelphia with my eyes closed.
